Liitu blackboard paint can be tinted into hundreds of Tikkurila colours and Tiina chose a beautiful grey shade from the Feel the Color colour card, V487. The pattern can be painted on the wall for up to one day, as long as the wall is sufficiently dry between applications.
"You can draw on the blackboard paint just like you would on a real blackboard, so the idea would fit in the nursery. You can draw on the wall with a permission!*

Create a new look in the kids room with paint in a matter of hours.
1. CLEAN THE SURFACE AND MASK WITH TAPE
Fill any holes in the wall and clean and protect necessary surfaces before painting.
Apply the flexible painter's tape to the wall according to the pattern you want.
To get an neat outline, paint on the tape with same colour wall paint before the blackboard paint.
2. PAINT THE EDGES
Paint the edges of the outline with Blackboard paint. A small paint roller is a handy tool here.
3. FILL IN THE MIDDLE
Fill in the rest of the shape twice with a larger roller, letting the paint dry for at least 6 hours in-between coats.
You can draw on the blackboard surface with chalk no earlier than one week after the last coat was applied.
