Maiju painted the walls of the kids room with full-matt Harmony interior paint in colour X438 Secret. Secret looks exactly the same on the wall as it does on the Feel the Color colour card when used in interior paint.
The walls were painted with Harmony interior paint to achieve a beautifully even and full-matt finish.
"The colour goes well with the grey of the cabinets, and I think it's a brilliant match for wood-coloured details! There’s no denying that painting is the quickest way to achieve room makeover! And it’s so fun! I chose full-matt Harmony because I knew from my previous experience that it was well-suited to our slightly uneven walls. Nowadays nearly all of our walls are painted with Harmony, because it gives the wall such a lovely, velvety feel and the colour always seems to vary slightly in different lighting. However, if you expect to clean the walls a lot in the future, we recommend Tikkurila Joker paint."

Kids room before and after the makeover
1. CLEAN
Wipe the wall surface. If thorough cleaning is needed, clean the surface with Tikkurila Maalipesu cleaning agent by following the instructions on the label. Leave to dry.
2. PROTECT
Protect the floor with suitable paper sheet before painting. Cover moldings and sockets with masking tape. If wall was sanded or previous paint surface is in dark colour, first apply a coat of Varma primer.
3. PAINT
Stir the Harmony interior paint and apply 2 coats to achieve a full-matt finish. Harmony is recoatable within 1-2 hours of painting, so you can finish the wall in just a few hours.
