How to lacquer wooden furniture

Treating wooden furniture with furniture lacquer is an effective way to enhance its durability, appearance, and overall lifespan. 1. Preparations

1. Read product instructions carefully and collect the necessary tools according to instructions. 
2. Clean the wooden furniture surface with wet cloth, leave to dry. 

2. Sanding

1. Sand with fine sandpaper (220 – 320 grit). 
2. Remove the sanding dust properly. 

3. Painting

1. Apply lacquer for larger surfaces. 
2. Pay attention on edges when painting, do not leave excessive amount of lacquer on surfaces. Leave to dry according to product instructions.

Tips:

Always stir lacquer properly before painting. Make a small test painting on less visible part of furniture beforehand.  

4. More layer 

If lacquer is tinted, apply the second layer to reach desired colour.
