How to wax wooden furniture

Treating wooden furniture with wax is an easy and effective method to enhance its beauty and longevity. Waxing not only adds a protective layer to the surface but also brings out the natural grain and texture, giving it a rich and lustrous appearance. 1. Preparations 

1. Read product instructions carefully and prepare the needed tools according to instructions.
2. Clean the surface properly from any dirt or grease. Leave to dry.

2. Sanding

1. Sand surfaces with fine sandpaper (220 – 320 grit). 
2. Remove the dust properly. 

3. Waxing

1. Stir the wax thoroughly before applying. 
2. Apply the first layer of wax along the wood grain. Leave to dry according to product instruction. 

4. Extra layer of waxing

1. If wax in tinted, sand the first layer wax surface once it is dry. Clean away dust. 
2. Apply the second layer wax evenly. Let surface to dry completely.
