Temasilox

A high performance, isocyanate free two-component, high-solids and high-gloss polysiloxane topcoat with excellent color and gloss retention.

• Excellent anticorrosive properties. When applied in two-coat system on zinc rich primer, corrosivity class C5 can be achieved. • Isocyanate free topcoat. Does not generate any di-isocyanates during cutting, welding or in a fire. • As a high-solids, VOC compliant product Temasilox meets even the most stringent environmental demands. • Higher UV-resistance than with conventional topcoats. • Offers significant savings with regard to maintenance costs. • Easy to apply on large surfaces due to long open time of the paint film. • No need for evaporation of solvents before ovening. • Rapidly ready for service. • The product is approved to be used as a topcoat in pre-qualified systems according to NORSOK M-501, system 1, rev.6. • Can also be used as a single-coat finish on blast cleaned or phosphated steel. On blast cleaned steel even corrosivity category C4 is possible.

• Recommended to be used as an isocyanate free finishing coating for steel structures for bridges, tanks, pipes, buildings, power plants, offshore structures and other structures that require long durability in severe corrosive atmospheric areas.

Practical coverage depends on the application method, painting conditions and the shape and roughness of the surface to be coated.
