Surface preparation
Unpainted surfaces: Remove dirt and dust from the unpainted surfaces. Fill the surfaces with suitable Presto or Prestonit filler, if needed. Prime porous and absorbing surfaces with ProSeal primer. Unpainted molded surfaces: Apply BioWash according to the instructions. Allow the surface to dry. For finishing the cleansing, spread the BioWash, diluted with water 1:50, to the whole surface. Let the surface dry. Fill cracks and holes with a suitable Presto or Prestonit filler. Prime porous and absorbing surfaces with ProSeal primer. Use BioRid for the surface treatment within 24 hours. Previously painted molded surfaces: Apply BioWash according to the instructions. Allow the surface to dry. Maintenance Painting:
Surfaces coated with BioRid Spray should be recoated with the same product if needed, to retain its properties.
Cleaning of tools
Remove excess paint from tools and wash with water. Tikkurila Pensselipesu is recommended for paint that has hardened to a certain extent.
Maintenance Instructions
Avoid high-pressure cleaning.
VOC
(cat A/a) 30g/l (2010) BioRid contains VOC max. 30g/l.
Use
BioRid is especially suitable for new and previously painted surfaces in conditions where protection of the paint film from mold contamination is required, such as cellars, parking garages, food industry facilities, warehouses, and cattle sheds. BioRid products cannot be used to repair moisture damage caused by inadequate ventilation or structural problems.

Easy and effective care for surfaces
Tikkurila’s BioRid method helps keep surfaces clean. In addition to the BioRid coating and BioRid Spray, the method includes the BioWash detergent and ProSeal primer.

Forms a flexible and porous coating layer
The coating temporarily collects condensed water, and when the surface temperature is above the dew point, the moisture evaporates into the air. Due to the micro-pore technology, evaporation is very fast.
