High gloss
Chlorinated rubber enamel modified with anticorrosive agents. Forms flexible, decorative and protective coats with gloss, resistant to weather conditions. Available in rich palette of colors (over 13 thousand).
Recommended Uses
The enamel is intended for coating of metal, metal covered with zinc surfaces, steel constructions and concrete elements - before appropriate surface preparation.
Up to 15 m2/l per one coat.
Application Method
brush, roller, spraying
Storage
Transport and storage tightly closed containers in temp. from +5°C to +25°C, storage in dry and ventilated areas.
Painting works carried out at a temperature from +5°C to +25°C and relative air humidity below 80%. Temperature of painted surface should be min. 3°C higher than the dew point temperature.
Surface preparation
Surfaces must be must be dry, clean from dust and grease. Possible traces of corrosion and scaling fragments of old paint need to be removed. Steel surfaces and constructions must be primed with alkyd primer Tikkurila Everal Corrostop or Tikkurila Rostex Super. Due to anticorrosive properties of the enamel, steel surfaces used in C1 corrosion environment (PN-EN ISO 12944-2) do not require application of primer. Zinc surfaces should be sanded and then primed with Tikkurila Rostex Super. The enamel may be applied after 72 hrs from priming with Tikkurila Everal Corrostop or after 24 hrs from priming with Tikkurila Rostex Super.
Painting
First coat:
Stir paint thoroughly before use. Apply 2-3 coats with brush, conventional or hydrodynamic spraying. Before spraying thin the enamel with xylene to the required viscosity by adding max. 25 vol-% of thinner. Thinned product can be used only on installations in which there are used laws in case of emission standards.
Cleaning of tools
Before washing tools should be thoroughly wiped in order to remove as much paint. Clean tools with xylene immediately after the completion of the work.
