Fontefacade SC 50

A water-borne one-component, fast-drying acrylate exterior single-coat paint.

• Suitable for fast production lines and drying in elevated temperature as well as in room temperature. • Good anti-blocking properties. • The paint can be used as a primer and a top coat. • Good weathering resistance.

• Suitable for exterior mineral substrates such as fibre-cement flat sheets.

Practical coverage depends on the application method, painting conditions and the shape and roughness of the surface to be coated.

Waterborne

Must not freeze. The best storage temperature is between +15–+25°C.

The surface to be treated has to be clean and dry. During application and drying temperature of the air, substrate and paint must be over +10°C and relative humidity of the air below 70%. Good ventilation is also very important.

Surfaces must be free of dirt, dust and grease.

First coat:

Stir the paint carefully before use. For airless spraying, recommended nozzle tip is 0.015"–0.019" and pressure 80–160 bar. Spray angle shall be chosen according to the shape of the object. For air-assisted airless spraying, recommended nozzle tip is 0.015"–0.019" and pressure 80–160 bar. Atomising air pressure should be about 1–3 bar. Spray angle shall be chosen according to the shape of the object.

Water.

According to VOC Directive 2004/42/EU the product subcategory A/c VOC limit (1.1.2010) is maximum 40 g/l. VOC content of "Fonte Facade SC 50" is 30±10 g/l.
