LM 7

High-quality, water-borne matte interior paint for professional use.

For interior painting of concrete, plaster, filler-treated, plasterboard, chipboard and wood fiberboard surfaces according to instructions. Also suitable for repainting previously painted surfaces.

Ceiling and wall surfaces in dry interior spaces.

Non-absorbent surfaces: 9–12 m²/l. Absorbent surfaces: 6–9 m²/l.

Waterborne

The surface to be painted must be dry, the ambient temperature at least +5 °C and the relative humidity of air below 80%.

Unpainted surfaces: Clean the surfaces by removing any dirt and dust. If necessary, level the surfaces with a suitable Tikkurila Presto filler and sand the dried surface. Remove the sanding dust. Prime with LM 3. Previously painted surfaces: Wash previously painted surfaces with diluted Maalipesu cleaning agent . Sand the painted surfaces non-glossy. Remove the sanding dust. Fill any cracks and holes with a suitable Presto filler and sand the dried surface. Remove the sanding dust. If needed, prime with LM 3.

First coat:

Stir LM 7 well before use and thin with water, if necessary. Apply 1–2 coats by roller, brush or spray.

Maintenance Painting:

Surfaces painted with LM 7 can be maintenance painted with the same or similar water-borne paint.

If needed, after approx. 1 month from treating the surface, at the earliest. The surfaces can be cleaned with a dry brush, mop or dust cloth. Any dirty surfaces can be cleaned with a neutral (pH 6–8) cleaning solution and a damp cleaning tool. The surface may not remain wet after cleaning. Follow the dilution instructions given by the detergent manufacturer when mixing the cleaning solution. After the surface treatment, surfaces must be handled with care for a few weeks, as the product will reach its final hardness and durability in about one month under normal conditions. If the surfaces need to be cleaned soon after finishing, clean them lightly with a dry or damp cleaning cloth or mop.
