First coat:

The thickening fibre is added in stages to the primer or mixed with a machine to form a uniform pulp. Avoid high speed when mixing, as it forms air bubbles in the coating. When adding the thickening fibre the levelling of the product and hence the appearance is affected. Thickening fibre may also increase the drying time.
