Valtti Plus Base

Ready-to-use, water-borne, slightly bluish exterior wood preservative that absorbs in the base.For consumer and professional use. Retards moisture absorption as well as mold growth and the spread of rot and blue stain. This PT8 wood preservative product has been approved according to the rules of the Biocide Directive No. 528/2012 /EC; Authorisation No FI-2016-0006. A ready-to-use water-borne liquid.

For protection and priming of timber and wooden structures before surface treatment Suitable for logs, sawn and planed timber, thermally treated and impregnated wood in exterior use. Not to be used in interior surfaces. Not to be used on wood in direct contact with foodstuffs or animal nutrition. Use the product only as wood preservative as described in product data sheet and label. Finishing coat is recommended to be applied as soon as possible, because colorless wood preservative does not protect the wood surface from the adverse effects of sunlight.

All wooden structures to be treated with wood stains or paints (except surfaces to be treated with wood oils and barn-red paints). Woodwork outside (use categories 2 and 3). Can be used on wood components above grounds. Not for use on wood in direct soil or water contact or in marine environment.

0,08-0,16 l/m² Sawn wood: 6-8 m²/litre per coat. Smooth wood: 8-12 m²/litre per coat.
