Free Decoration offers endless possibilities to make any public space outstanding. Combining two colours to create a free decoration effect adds visual interest and personality to a space.
Instructions – two-day system
Day 1. Prime the floor
Prime the floor with Temafloor 402M according to the instructions in the product data sheet.
Day 2. Apply a basecoat
Apply Temafloor 500M as a basecoat according to the instructions in the product data sheet. This will be the main colour of the floor.
Prepare the decorative mix
Prepare the decorative mix in the same way as the basecoat and apply immediately, not more than 20 minutes after applying the basecoat. Add aluminium paste (2,0-2,5% wt to clear base paint) if a metallic effect is desired.
Pour the decorative mix
Wear spiked shoes when walking on the fresh basecoat. Pour the decorative mix to match the chosen design, e.g. using a watering can equipped with a narrow spout (Ꝋ ~10 mm). A suitable tool, such as a spatula or small trowel can be used to fine-tune the pattern. It is easiest to decorate in sections, for example applying 20–30 m² of basecoat and decorating it before moving on to the next section.
