Restoring an exterior wooden area in bad condition

First, check which paint has been used before and make sure you have enough for the job.

Then, protect the area with e.g. newspapers/plastic to avoid paint drops. Next up: remove broken boards (if any). If a new board is required, be sure to pre-treat it with Valtti Pohjuste. Then go ahead and add the new board. 

Note: If you notice any loose paint in the old boards, scrape it off before proceeding.

Grab a brush and thoroughly clean the wooden surface using Tikkurila Homeenpoisto.

Finally, remove area protection and the job is done!
