Minimising energy use in production
At Tikkurila, we are committed to maximizing energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact across our operations. Applying as many energy-saving measures as possible. Think of energy generation by means of solar panels, use of LED lighting, green electricity and water-saving cleaning processes of the pipes. The latter is done with the so-called PIG system in which a ball of plastic is pushed through the pipes.
