Flakes Fusion combines coloured flakes with a contrasting base colour to create a visually appealing textured floor surface. A darker colour is used to create a distinctive pathway through the space, with flakes added for colour, texture and depth. The overall effect is a unique and visually striking floor surface.
Instructions – three-day system
Day 1. Prime the floor
Prime the floor with Temafloor 402M according to the instructions in the product data sheet.
Day 2. Mark the pathway area and apply a basecoat
Mark off the pathway area, for example using self-adhesive window sealer, and apply a coat of Temafloor 500M in the chosen shade. The sealer prevents uncontrolled flow and ensures clean, sharp edges.
Broadcast flakes
Broadcast flakes onto the fresh basecoat.
Remove sealer
Remove sealer ~4 hours after application.
Apply a basecoat
Apply a coat of Temafloor 500M outside of the pathway area according to the instructions in the product data sheet. Make sure the fresh coat is applied at the same thickness as previously applied coat.
Broadcast flakes
Broadcast flakes onto the freshly painted surface.
Day 3. Apply a topcoat
Apply Fontedur FL Matt across the entire floor using a high-quality short pile roller according to the instructions in the product data sheet.
