Flakes Fusion Shapes is a decorative floor technique that combines coloured flakes with a base of contrasting shapes and colours. This creates a visually dynamic, textured floor surface with a unique appearance.
Instructions – three-day system
Day 1. Prime the floor
Prime the floor with Temafloor 402M according to the instructions in the product data sheet.
Day 2. Mark the area and apply a basecoat
Mark off a large, irregular shape, for example using self-adhesive window sealer, and apply a coat of Temafloor 500M in the chosen shade. The sealer prevents uncontrolled flow and ensures clean, sharp edges.
Broadcast flakes
Broadcast flakes onto the fresh paint according to the decoration scheme.
Remove sealer
Remove sealer ~4 hours after application.
Apply a basecoat
Apply a coat of Temafloor 500M in a contrasting colour across the rest of the floor according to the instructions in the product data sheet. Make sure the fresh coat is applied at the same thickness as previously applied coat.
Broadcast flakes
Broadcast flakes to finalise the decoration.
Day 3. Apply a topcoat
Apply Temafloor 210 Clear varnish across the entire floor according to the instructions in the product data sheet.
